Terms and Definitions

If any term is not defined in this Privacy Statement (such as "Service Items" or "Goneo Energy Platform"), its definition shall be consistent with that in our Terms of Service ("Terms").

This Platform: refers to the external network client named "Goneo Energy Platform", the website with the domain name [ecloud.goneoglobal.com], and the service support for the "Goneo Energy" App mobile client.

Personal Information: refers to various information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person individually or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person.

Sensitive Personal Information: includes personal biometric data, communication records and content, health-related information, transaction-related information, and precise location information. Application: refers to the mobile application "Goneo Energy" App mobile client provided by Goneo Group Co., Ltd., which can help end users remotely control smart devices and connect to the supplier's Internet of Things (IoT) platform.

I. To provide you with our services, we will ask you to provide the necessary personal data for such services. If you do not provide personal data, we cannot provide you with our products or services.

1. Information You Voluntarily Provide to Us

Account or Profile Data: When you register for our account, we will collect your account number and contact information, such as your email address, phone number, username, and login credentials. During your interaction with our products, we will further collect information such as your nickname, avatar, country code, language preference, or time zone in your account.

Feedback: When you use the feedback and suggestion function in our products, we will collect your email address, mobile phone number, and feedback content to promptly handle your questions and equipment failures.

At the same time, according to different application products and services, Goneo Group Co., Ltd. will collect corresponding and necessary personal information to provide you with products and services.

(1) Additional Services Based on Location Information:
When you enable the location function of your mobile device through system authorization and use services provided based on location, we will collect and use your location information to facilitate your use of [Goneo Energy] for network configuration with smart devices. In addition, when you use our specific products or services (such as weather services), we will collect real-time precise or imprecise geolocation information about you.

(2) Additional Services Based on Camera:
Additional functions based on the camera: You can use this additional function to complete video recording, photo taking, QR code scanning, and face recognition login. When you perform device identification, camera permission will be requested to capture and read the serial number (SN). We may apply face recognition technology to more scenarios, and at that time, we will confirm with you again whether you are willing to allow us to use your facial information to implement these additional functions.

(3) Additional Services for Accessing and Uploading Pictures/Videos Based on Album (Photo Library/Video Library):
After enabling album permission, you can use this function to upload your photos/pictures/videos to achieve functions such as changing avatars and providing proof when reporting equipment usage issues. When you use it for functions such as avatars, we will not identify this information; however, when you report equipment usage issues, we will locate your problem through the photos/pictures you upload.

(4) Additional Services Related to Voice Technology Based on Microphone:
After enabling microphone permission, you can use the microphone to implement voice functions, such as video recording and waking up the voice assistant. In these functions, we will collect your voice information to identify your instruction needs. Please note that even if you have agreed to enable microphone permission, we will only obtain voice information through the microphone when you actively click the microphone icon in the App or record a video.

(5) Additional Services Based on Storage Permission:
We request this permission to ensure the stable operation of the client. After you enable the permission for us to read/write to your device's storage, we will read from or write necessary information such as pictures, files, and crash log information into your device's storage space to provide you with functions such as information release or local recording of crash log information.

You understand and agree that the above additional services require you to enable your location information (geographic location), camera, album (photo library), and microphone (voice) on your device to realize the collection and use of information involved in these permissions. You can check the status of the above permissions item by item in your device settings and decide to enable or disable these permissions at any time.

Please note that enabling any permission means you authorize us to collect and use relevant personal information to provide you with corresponding services. Once you disable any permission, it means you revoke the authorization. We will no longer continue to collect and use relevant personal information based on the corresponding permission, nor can we provide you with the services corresponding to that permission. 2. Information We Automatically Collect

Basic Smart Device Information: When you use smart devices connected to our products or services, we will collect basic information about the smart devices, such as device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and upgrade information.

Information Reported by Smart Devices: Depending on the different smart devices you choose to connect to our products or services, we will collect information reported by your smart devices.

4. Description of Auto-Start and Associated Start

To ensure that the application can normally receive broadcast messages pushed by the client when it is closed or running in the background, this application will use the (auto-start) capability, and there will be a certain frequency of sending broadcasts through the system to wake up the application for auto-start or associated start, which is necessary to realize functions and services. When you open App content push messages, after obtaining your explicit consent, you will be redirected to the relevant content of the "Goneo Energy" App. Without your consent, there will be no associated start.
